WHEREAS the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE in pursuance of the Proclamation of the fifth day of July, 1977, and in exercise of powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:___ CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY

• Section 11: Pro-Chancellor
• Section 12: Vice-Chancellor
• Section 13: Powers and duties of the Vice-Chancellor

• Section 16: Authorities. The following shall be the Authorities of the University namely:

• Section 18: Power of the Syndicate

• Section 21: Constitution, functions and powers of other Authority. The constitution, functions and
• Section 22: Appointment of Committees by the Authorities. Any Authority may from time to time,

• Section 25: Rules. The Authorities and the other bodies of the University may make rules, consistent

• Section 27: Extension of affiliation
• Section 28: Inspection and reports
• Section 29: Disaffiliation

• Section 33: Functions of Research Centre
