11. Pro-Chancellor.___ (1) The Minister for Education of the Government of Pakistan shall be the Pro-Chancellor of the University. (2) The Pro-Chancellor shall perform such duties and functions and exercise such powers as may be assigned and delegated to him by the Chancellor. (3) In the absence of the Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor shall, when present, preside at a convocation of the University.
