This policy explains how LawHub handles public, private, and user-submitted data.
1. Public lawyer information
The directory displays privacy-safe public information such as name, advocate level, location, court, specialization, experience, consultation fee, office address, and contact details supplied for public enquiries.
2. Sensitive data is not public
CNICs, family details, private email addresses, and verification documents are used only for authorised verification and administration. They are not exposed through the public directory or public API.
3. User and case data
Information submitted to the AI assistant or case-posting service is used to provide the requested feature and relevant matching. A case's category, location, and description may be public, so users should not include private contact details in descriptions.
4. Local session data
Login session data, including a token and basic user information, may be stored in your browser. Signing out clears the locally stored session.
5. District-court records
LawHub does not modify official court records. District-court links direct users to government portals, which remain the official sources.
6. Your choices
You may request correction or removal of information where applicable. Verified advocates can use the available profile-management process to request listing updates.
