WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Regulation of the Frontier Corps Units 1*** ; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the seventh day of October, 1958, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and pro- mulgate the following Ordinance, namely:—

• Section 1: Short title commencement and application
• Section 2: Definitions.−In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or
• Section 3: Powers to maintain Frontier Crops
• Section 4: Constitution of Frontier Crops
• Section 5: Appointment and powers of superior officers
• Section 6: Appointment of subordinate officers and men
• Section 7: Superintendence, command control and administration of Frontier Crops
• Section 8: More heinous offences
• Section 9: Less heinous offences. Every member of the Frontier Corps who
• Section 10: Summary punishments
• Section 11: Place of imprisonment, and liability to dismissal on imprisonment
• Section 12: Deductions from pay and allowances. The following penal deductions may be made
• Section 13: Collective fines
• Section 14: Resignation and withdrawal from the Frontier Crops. No member of the Frontier
• Section 15: General duties of members of the Frontier Crops
• Section 16: Protection of persons serving in the Frontier Crops
• Section 17: Jurisdiction
• Section 18: Commencement and execution of sentence
• Section 19: Execution of sentence of detention
