14. Resignation and withdrawal from the Frontier Crops. No member of the Frontier Corps shall be at liberty to— (a) resign his appointment during the term of engagement, (b) withdraw himself from all or any of the duties of his appointment, without the sanction of the Commandant under whom he is serving or of some other officer authorized by the Commandant to grant such sanction.
