9. Patron.___ (1) The President of the Islamic Republic Of Pakistan shall be the Patron of the University. (2) The Patron, or in his absence, the Chancellor shall preside at the convocation of the University. (3) Every proposal to confer an honorary degree shall be subject to confirmation by the Patron.
