8. Officers of the University. The following shall be the officers of the University namely:— (a) the Chancellor who shall be appointed by the Patron on the recommendation of the Foundation; (b) the Rector; (c) the Deans; (d) the Heads of teaching departments; (e) the Registrar; and (f) such other persons as may be specified by regulations to be officers.
