WHEREAS the National Assembly is not in session and the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render immediate legislation necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by clause (1) of Article 29 of the Constitution, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the President of Pakistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:__
- Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement
- Section 2: Definitions. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or
- Section 3: Establishment and incorporation
- Section 4: Share capital
- Section 5: Shares deemed to be securities under certain Acts. The shares of the Corporation
- Section 6: Numbering of shares. Every share of the Corporation shall be assigned a number and
- Section 7: Register of shareholders. The Corporation shall maintain at its head office a register
- Section 8: Qualification of shareholders
- Section 9: Notice regarding trust. The Corporation shall not enter in its register of shareholders
- Section 10: Offices, branches, etc
- Section 11: Direction and superintendence
- Section 12: Board
- Section 13: Chairman
- Section 14: Managing Director
- Section 15: Qualifications and disqualifications of Directors
- Section 16: Executive Committee
- Section 17: Annual general meetings and special meetings of the shareholders
- Section 18: Meeting of the Board and the Executive Committee
- Section 19: Fees for attending meetings. A Director shall be paid such fees for attending meetings
- Section 20: Appointment of officers, advisers, etc. The Corporation may appoint such officers,
- Section 21: Declaration of fidelity and secrecy. Every Director, member of the Executive
- Section 22: Indemnity of Directors
- Section 23: Business which the Corporation is authorised to transact. The Corporation may
- Section 24: Borrowing powers
- Section 25: Special powers. The Corporation’s commission, brokerage, fees and other charges for
- Section 26: Power to impose conditions. For the purpose of transacting any business under this
- Section 27: Disposal of profit
- Section 28: Auditors
- Section 29: Return. The Corporation shall furnish to the 1[Federal Government] within three
- Section 30: Power to call for payment before agreed period
- Section 31: Recovery of Corporation’s dues. Without prejudice to the right of the Corporation to
- Section 32: Delegation of powers
- Section 33: Offences
- Section 34: Liquidation of Corporation. No provision of law relating to the winding up of
- Section 35: Power of Federal Government to make rules. The 1[Federal Government] may make
- Section 36: Power of the Board to make regulations
