3. Establishment and incorporation.__ (1) As soon as may be after the coming into force of this Ordinance, the 1[Federal Government] shall establish, by notification in the official Gazette, a Corporation to be called the Investment Corporation of Pakistan for the purposes of this Ordinance. (2) The Corporation shall be a body corporate by the name of the Investment Corporation of Pakistan, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power, subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, to acquire, hold and dispose of any property and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued. (3) The Corporation shall not be deemed to be a banking company within the meaning of the Banking Companies Ordinance, 1962 (LVII of 1962).
