Section 8: Composition of the Commission

(1) The Commission, constituted under sub-section (1) of section 5, shall consist of five members to be appointed by the Federal Government. (2) Federal Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, increase or decrease the number of members, from time to time, as it may consider appropriate. (3) The division concerned shall, from amongst the Members of the Commission, appoint the Chairman. (4) No act or proceeding of the Commission shall be invalid by, reason of absence of a member or existence of any vacancy among its members or defect in constitution thereof.
