Section 27: Administration and secretariat of the Commission

(1) The trade dispute resolution organization (TDRO) shall be the secretariat of the Commission and the executive director general TDRO shall be ex-officio secretary of the Commission. (2) The secretary to the Commission shall— (a) hold in custody, at all material time, the records and seal of the Commission; (b) ensure the timely payment of salaries and allowances of officers, experts, consultants and employees of the Commission; (c) propose budget estimates to the Commission and take such actions to ensure that the Commission is satisfied with the same; (d) receive applications filed by parties and ensure that the same are presented to the Commission for review, in a timely manner; and (e) perform all other functions and duties as may be prescribed, from time to time.
