10. Functions of the Authority.___ In particular and without prejudice to the generality of functions under this Ordinance, the functions of the Authority shall be to___ (a) ensure effective operation of this Ordinance ; (b) carry out, on behalf of Pakistan, such obligations which Pakistan has under the Convention; (c) facilitate inspections of premises in Pakistan, in case compliance of Pakistan with the Convention is challenged; and (d) do anything incidental or conducive to the performance of the aforesaid functions.
