16. Meetings of the Board.___ (1) The Board shall meet at least twice in a year on dates to be fixed by the Rector. (2) A special meeting may be called at any time by the Patron, Chancellor or Rector or on a request by not less than five members of the Board to consider any matter of urgent nature. (3) In the case of a special meeting not less than ten clear days' notice shall be given to the members of the Board and the agenda of the meeting shall be restricted to the matter for which the special meeting is called. (4) The quorum for a meeting of the Board shall be one half of its members, a fraction being counted as one. (5) The decisions of the Board shall be expressed in terms of the views of the majority of the members present and voting and, if the members are equally divided, the Chairperson of the Board shall have, and exercise, a casting vote.
