597. Power to appoint examiners and to make rules as to qualifications of surveyors.–– The Federal Government may appoint competent persons for the purposes of examining the qualification of persons desirous of practicing the profession of a surveyor at any port in Pakistan, and may make rules— (a) for the conduct of such examinations and the qualifications required ; (b) for the grant of certificates to qualified persons ; (c) for the fees to be paid for such examinations and certificates ; (d) for holding inquiries into charges of incompetency and misconduct on the part of holders of such certificates; and (e) for the suspension and cancellation of such certificates.
