18. Power to amend authorisation, and its effect .___ (1) The National Authority may amend an authorisation issued by it under section 12, verying the specified area mentioned therein, as it may consider necessary from time to time. (2) In case the National Authority has amended an authorisation under sub -section (1) (a) the provisions of section 14 shall be applicable to such amendment as if the specified area were the area as varied; and (b) the provisions of section 16 shall be applicable to such amendment as it shall apply to the authorisation.
