14. Power to prohibit, manufacture, keeping in stock and sale of certain articles.—(1) The Federal Government may, in consultation with the Authority and by notification in the official Gazette, prohibit, with effect from such date as may be specified in the notification, the manufacture, storage and sale of any article specified therein which does not conform to the Pakistan standard. (2) The Federal Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, require any article which conforms to a particular Pakistan standard to be marked with such distinctive mark as may be specified in the notification.
