25. Power to acquire land.⎯ (1) Subject to the other provisions of this Ordinance, the rules made thereunder, and the directions of the Authority, the Deputy commissioner may, by order in writing, acquire any land for the purposes of this Ordinance. (2) No order under sub-section (1) shall be issued except on the receipt by the Deputy Commissioner of specified directions from the Authority.
