22. Regulation of access to the computer system.—(1) A central depository may, in accordance with the regulations, authorise any accountholders, the stock exchanges on which the securities in relation to bookentry securities entered in the central depository register of the central depository are listed, clearing houses of such stock exchanges or issuers to have access to its computer system within such limits and for such purposes as may be specified in such regulations. (2) No person— (a) who, being a person authorised to have access under subsection (1), shall gain access, or attempt to gain access, to a computer system of a central depository, whether by means of any device or apparatus forming part of the computer system or by any other means, beyond the limits or for purposes other than for which he is authorised thereunder (b) who; not being a person authorised to have access under subsection (1), shall gain access, or attempt, to gain access, to a computer system of a central depository, whether by means of any device or apparatus forming part of the computer system or by any other means; or (c) shall unlawfully interfere with, or impede, or attempt to interfere with or impede, the operation of a computer system of a central depository.
