324. Power to exempt ship from provisions of Chapter 20.—(1) The Federal Government may subject to such conditions as it thinks fit, exempt any ship or class of ships from any provisions of this Chapter relating to pilgrim ships. (2) In imposing a condition under this section, the Federal Government may direct that a breach of it shall be liable to a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
