30. Period for lodging claims and objections.—(1) Any person may file an application for inclusion of a name in the electoral roll, or an objection to, or application for correction of, any entry in the preliminary electoral rolls before the Revising Authority on the prescribed form within a period of thirty days or more, as may be determined by the Commission, next following the date of the publication of the preliminary electoral rolls under section 28. (2) The Revising Authority shall reject any claim or objection or application for correction or transfer if it is not made within the period specified in sub-section (1) or is not made in the prescribed manner.
