2. Definitions.___ In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,___ (a) “appropriate Government” means, in relation to any requisitioned land, the 1[Federal] or Provincial Government by which or under the authority of which the land has been requisitioned; (b) “requisitioned land” means immovable property which at the commencement of this Ordinance is subject to any requisition effected under the rules made under the Defence of Pakistan Ordinance, 1965 (XXIII of 1965). 1 Subs. by Federal Adaptation of Laws Order, 1975, (P.O No. 4 of 1975), Art 2 and Table.
