21. Repeals and savings.―(1) The Cinematograph Act, 1918 (II of 1918), and the Censorship of Films Act, 1963 (XVIII of 1963), are hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of any Act by sub-section (1), and without prejudice to the provisions of section 24 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (X of 1897), every thing done, order passed, action taken or obligation, liability, penalty or punishment incurred under any of the provisions of the said Act, shall, if not inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, continue in force and be deemed to have been done, passed, taken or incurred under the provisions of this Ordinance. 1Ins. by Ordinance No. VII of 1982, s. 3.
