16. Certain persons to be public servants.―The Chairman, members and employees of a Board and persons empowered under sub-section (4) of section 8 shall, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Ordinance, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1880).
