21. Power to make rules. The 1[Federal Government] may, by notification in the official Gazette, make rules4 - (a) regulating the functions and powers of the Deputy Commissioner 5[District Magistrate] Commandant, the District Constabulary Officer and the Assistant Constabulary Officer, respectively, under this Act ; (b) regulating, 6* * * the classes and grades of, and the remuneration to be paid to the officers and men of, and the conditions of service in the 7Frontier Cons- tabulary ; (c) fixing the period of service for members of the Constabulary in any district or local area ; 1Subs. by F.
