18. Authority to confer exclusive powers of Sessions Courts on Deputy Commissioner:- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898), the 1[Federal Government] may declare that the Court of any Deputy Commissioner and no other Court, shall be deemed to be the Court of Session for the disposal of cases, or any class of cases, arising under this Act.
