49. Penalties where works belong to Government. –The provisions of section 39, 40, 44, 45 and 46 shall, so far as they are applicable, be deemed to apply also when the acts made punishable thereunder are committed in the case of energy supplied by, or of works belonging to, 2[the 3[Federal Government ]or any Provincial Government].
