38. Power to require returns from Corporations. The Bank may require any Corporation with which it has any transactions under section 17 to furnish returns 1[referred to in] sub-section (3) of section 36, and if it does so require, the provisions of subsections (6), (7) and (8) of section 36 shall apply, so far as may be, to such Corporation as if it were a scheduled bank.
