12. The Chief Executive Officer.—(1) There shall be a Chief Executive Officer of the Authority who shall be appointed by the Federal Government subject to such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Federal Government. (2) The Chief Executive Officer shall be appointed for a term of three years which may be extended to only one additional term of not exceeding three years.
