15. Exemption from registry.—The following ships shall be exempted from registry under this Ordinance, namely :— (a) Ships not exceeding fifteen tonnes net registered tonnage employed solely in navigation on the rivers or coasts of Pakistan within which the managing owners of the ships are resident; (b) Ships not exceeding thirty tonnes net registered tonnage and not having a whole or fixed deck, and employed solely in fishing or trading coastwise on the shores of Pakistan; and (c) Ships belonging to Government of Pakistan except where expressly provided by notification in official Gazette.
