1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Companies Act, 2017. (2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan. (3) This Act shall come into force at once, except section 456 which shall come into force on such date as the Federal Government or an authority or person authorized by it may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint.
