134: Penalty

Penalty.– (1) If any person wilfully destroys or injures or without lawful authority removes a boundary or survey mark lawfully erected, he may be ordered by [the Collector of the District to pay fine which may extend to one million rupees] for each mark so destroyed, injured or removed as may, in the opinion of the [Collector], be necessary to defray the expenses of restoring the same and of rewarding the person, if any, who gave information of the destruction, injury or removal. (2) The imposition of a fine under this section shall not bar a prosecution under section 434 of the Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1860). C XI P
