Development and maintenance of computerized systems.– (1) The Board of Revenue shall cause to develop, establish and maintain computerized systems for management of records in the manner as may be prescribed, for the purpose of: (a) preservation, maintenance and management of records; (b) payments and collection of fees and charges through digital means; 114 The Punjab Laws (c) application of modern technology in record management; and (d) digitization of processes, proceedings, records and orders of Revenue Officers and Revenue Courts. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), Board of Revenue may engage the Punjab Land Records Authority or any entity, authority or agency of the Government having specialization for development, operation and maintenance of such digitalized systems.] Procedure for making records
