4. Chairman and Vice Chairman. (1) The Council shall have a Chairman who shall be an architect of not less than fifteen years' experience and two Vice Chairmen, one being an architect and the other a town planner of not less than fifteen years' experience, to be elected by the members from amongst themselves in the prescribed manner. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in subsection (1), for a period of 2[two years] from the commencement of this Ordinance, the Chairman and Vice Chairmen shall be the persons nominated by the Federal Government under clauses (i) and (ii) of subsection (5) of section 3. (3) The Chairman and Vice Chairmen shall, subject to subsection (2), hold office for a term of two years. (4) No person shall be qualified to be elected as, or to be, Chairman or Vice Chairman for more than two consecutive terms.
