Online Defamation-Related Conduct (Limited Note)
Pakistan’s defamation landscape includes civil remedies and other criminal provisions outside PECA. Within PECA, section 20 addresses certain false information transmitted through information systems that harms dignity or reputation — subject to the Act’s exact wording and exceptions. This page does not merge all “defamation” law into PECA.
