15. Compulsory acquisition of protected Immovable antiquity.—(1) If the Federal Government apprehends that a protected immovable antiquity is in danger of being destroyed, injured or allowed to fall into decay, it may, 3* * * direct the Provincial Government to acquire such antiquity or any part thereof ; and the Provincial Government shall thereupon acquire such antiquity or part under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (I of 1894), as for a public purpose. 1Subs, by the Antiquities (Amdt.)
