18. Repeal and saving.___(1) The Karachi Essential Articles (Price Control and Anti‑Hoarding) Ordinance, 1953 (Ord. III of 1953), is hereby repealed. (2) Any order, direction or rule made under the said Ordin ance and in force immediately before the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to have been made under the provisions of this Act and shall have effect accordingly. 1 Subs. by A.O., 1964, Art. 2 and Sch., for “Agent” which had been subs. by the Repealing and Amending Ordinance, 1961 (1 of 1961), s. 3 and 2nd Sch., for “Chief Commissioner”.
