1: Short title, extent and commencement

Short title, extent and commencement.– (1) This Act may be called [the Punjab] Land Revenue Act, 1967. (2) It extends to the whole of the Province of [the Punjab] [* * *]. (3) It or any specified provision thereof shall come into operation in such area or areas and on such date or dates as Government may, by notification , appoint in this behalf.
