Section 86: Power of the Federal Government to declare a country as Convention country

86. Power of the Federal Government to declare a country as Convention country. —(1) With a view to the fulfillment of a treaty, convention or arrangement between Pakistan and any other country, the Federal Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, declare such country to be the Convention country for the purposes of this Ordinance, in addition to the members of the World Trade Organization. (2) A declaration under sub­section (1) may be made for the purposes either for all or for some only of the provisions of this Ordinance, and a country in the case of which a declaration made for the purposes of some only of the provisions of the Ordinance is in force shall be deemed to be a Convention country for the purposes of those provisions only.
