4. Surveyors.—(1) The Federal Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint for each office established under section 3 as many persons, as it may think fit, possessing such qualifications as may be prescribed in this behalf, to be surveyors for the purposes of this Ordinance (2) The surveyor shall perform his functions under this Ordinance under the general supervision and control of the Principal Officer.
