34. Procedure in criminal trial.—(1) In criminal proceedings, the Court shall follow the procedure prescribed in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act V of 1898), and Qanun-e- Shahadat, 1984 (President’s Order No. 10 of 1984). (2) The Court shall have and exercise the power of a Judicial Magistrate of the First Class under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act V of 1898).
