199. Definitions.–(1) In this Chapter unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context–– (a) “officer” means an officer qualified for the purposes of section 93 of this Ordinance or duly certificated under the Merchant Shipping Law previously in force; and (b) “seaman” does not include an officer.
