THE BALOCHISTAN TENANCY ORDINANCE, 1978 (Balochistan Ordinance XXIV of 1978) [27 December, 1978] An Ordinance to regulate the rights and liabilities of tenants and landlords in the Province of Balochistan. WHEREAS it is necessary to provide a law to govern the rights and liabilities of tenants and the landlords in lands in the Province of Balochistan and matters connected therewith; AND WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the fifth day of July, 1977 , read with the Laws (Continuance in Force) Order, 1977 (CMLA Order No. 1 OF 1977) and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance: ― CHAPTER – I
