Power to investigate.__ Only an authorized officer of the investigation agency shall have the powers to investigate an offence under this Act: Provided that the Federal Government may constitute one or more joint investigation teams comprising an authorized officer of NCCIA and any other law enforcement agency for investigation of offences under this Act. The joint investigation team may seek assistance from any intelligence agency for the purposes of investigation under this Act.]
