Section 16: Power to frame rules for guidance of [Magistrates and] Benches

The [Provincial Government] may, [* * * * * * *] from time to time, make rules consistent with this Code for the guidance of [all Magistrates and] Magistrates’ Benches in any district respecting the following subjects: (a) the classes of cases to be tried; (b) the times and places of sitting; (c) the constitution of the Bench for conducting trials; (d) the mode of settling differences of opinion which may arise between the Magistrates in session [;] [(e) The mode and manner of conducting raids and trial on the spot.]
