1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Ordinance may be called the Marriage Functions (Prohibition of Ostentatious Displays and Wasteful Expenses) Ordinance, 2000. (2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan. (3) It shall come into force at once.
