9. Grant of licence de novo. ⸻ (1) Where licence of a trade organisation is cancelled under section 7, the 1[Regulator] may consider grant of licence de novo after a period of one year from the date of cancellation or licence: Provided that where the licence of a trade organisation was cancelled under clause (a) of sub­section (1) of section 7, the 1[Regulator] may consider the grant of licence de novo at an earlier date. (2) The trade organisation seeking licence under sub­section (1) shall be required to make an application in such form and manner as may be prescribed.
