6. Registration.___(1) The company shall be entitled to carry on non-life insurance business in accordance with the object clause of its Memorandum of Association, without obtaining the registration under the Insurance Ordinance 2000 for a period of one year from the effective date. (2) Within one year from the effective date, the Company shall either:— (a) get itself registered under the said Insurance Ordinance, or (b) cease to enter into new contracts or insurance and all the provisions under the law for the time being in force shall apply to the Company as they apply to the unregistered companies.
