1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Industry (Control and Development) Act, 1973. (2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan. (3) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the second day of September, 1973.
