Section 204: Issue of certificate and duplicate of customs document

204. Issue of certificate and duplicate of customs document.- A certificate or a duplicate of any certificate, manifest, bill or other custom’s document may, on payment of a fee not exceeding 17[one hundred] rupees, be furnished, at the discretion of an officer of customs not below the rank of an Assistant Collector of Customs, to any person applying for the same, if the said officer is satisfied that no fraud has been committed or is intended to be committed by the applicant.
