RESPONDENTIA BOND, that is to say, any instrument securing a loan on the cargo laden or to be laden on board a ship and making repayment contingent on the arrival of the cargo at the port of destination. REVOCATION OF ARMY TRUST OR SETTLEMENT. See SETTLEMENT (No.58), TRUST (No.64). Proper stamp-duty: The same duty as on a Bond (No.15) for the amount of the loan secured.
